7. Core Teaching: Embodying the Work
Activation is not about adding something new.
It is about living what you already know.
And it begins — not when you feel ready — but when you choose to begin.
This is the final stage of the six-stage developmental framework at the heart of the Life Transitions Companion Certification. And in many ways, it is where everything that has come before — awakening, awareness, acceptance, alignment, authenticity — stops being something you study and starts being something you live.
In this lesson, we explore:
— What activation actually means and why it is ongoing rather than a single moment of arrival
— How the six stages begin to function together as an integrated way of being
— The myth of readiness — and why waiting for certainty may be the thing that holds practitioners back longest
— What embodied practice actually looks like in real-life support of women in transition
— How to support activation in others without pressure, rushing, or substituting your judgment for theirs
— What continued practitioner development looks like beyond certification
Readiness often grows through experience. You may not feel completely certain — and you may still be ready to begin.
This lesson is both a completion and a beginning. A moment to look back at how far you have come — and forward into the practice that is now yours to live.
The Life Transitions Companion Certification is a 5-month cohort-based professional formation program for women who feel called to support others through life's most tender passages.
